WELCOME 2011 !….Wow..it was june 1992 when i first started at Lake Country KQ92….Time flies when u are enjoying what you are doing…That has been the case for all these years…The love of music brought me to this biz – Oh so many years ago…Have seen a few changes in the industry…Some good…some maybe not as good…Same in the music industry…However, music remains as vital to everyday life as it has always been…We continue to bring you the exciting new country of today as it to evolves…I can’t tell you how much of a pleasure and honor it has been to be a part of this fantastic region for all these years…Thank you for listening…My home is on the Morning Drive each weekday morning…

Is this new web site awesome or what !!!!!….I’m gonna go with awesome 
…The majority of the time I’m on the air from 10am to 4pm…I am also one of the play by play voices here at KQ92, along with Terry Olson…We cover high school sports for Warroad, Roseau and Lake of the Woods…It’s great to be a part of that and, with help from the Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network, being able to bring you high school sporting events on the internet…Cool stuff!!!…Yeah okay I’m the “old guy” at the radio station and the phrase “Cool stuff!!!” probably went out with platform shoes and peace signs…Although I hear peace signs are making a comback …I came to the area from West Central Minnesota and before that southeast Iowa and before THAT it was the Republic of the Marshall Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean…Ask me sometime, and I’ll tell you what it was like living out there…Let us know what you think of the new web page!!!!…Shoot me an email sometime if you have any sports information (especially schedules) that we can help you with, or if you just have a comment good or bad or just because …Thanks for listening to Today’s New Hit Country, Lake Country KQ92 !!!………Cool stuff!!!

You can find me here on KQ92 working the Morning Drive from 6a-9a. Had that gig since 2007. . I worked for KQ92 back in 1992 for a few years, then came back in 2003.
I was born in Fort Francis Ontario, raised in Int’l Falls, MN, graduated from Lake of the Woods High School in Baudette, MN, and here I am in Warroad, MN. Just skirtin’ my way across northern MN. I never did go to college, which I regret. But I have been given some great opportunities. All of
whIch I am grateful for. I enjoy all country music, old and new. There are some talented new artists on the scene and it will be interesting to watch them on their journey. We are all on our own journeys. Try and live each day to the fullest and don’t sweat the small stuff……….see ya.
