We advertised the opening in the Minnesota Broadcaster’s Association Website, the All Access Website, and the Sportscaster’s Talent Agency of America Website
We had 12 people respond to this opening. Most were from the East Coast, so it was very difficult to set up a live interview. We hired a gentleman from Colorado to do afternoon drive.
Border Broadcasting co-hosted a Job Fair with Doug’s Supermarket on October 30, 2014.
Border Broadcasting participates in a National Scholarship Program with SESAC. This program is designed to help a student in at least their third year of college pursuing a degree in communications. In 2007, the winner of this Scholarship was from Warroad, MN.
Border Broadcasting participates in a scholarship program designed to assist students interested in pursuing a career in broadcasting. This program is administered by the Minnesota Broadcaster’s Association.
Border Broadcasting established a local scholarship program designed to assist Warroad High School Students in pursuing a career that involves the music industry.
