In High School Volleyball from September 30th, in the “Battle for the Paddle” match, the Lake of the Woods Bears defeated the Warroad Warriors three sets to one to keep possession of the Traveling Trophy. With the win, Lake of the Woods is 11-and-9 on the season and will host the International Falls Broncos October 1st. With the loss, Warroad drops to 3-15 and will play at Crookston October 1st.
