Greenbush-Middle River and Tri-County School Districts welcome new superintendent

The new school year is also seeing a change in administration at the Greenbush-Middle River and Tri-County. Kevin McKeever is the new superintendent at both schools. McKeever is no stranger to the area having served as superintendent and K-12 principal at the Badger School after which he served 23 years in the Win-E-Mac School district before returning to the area

One of the many hurdles he had to face was an August referendum vote proposing to increase the district’s general education revenue by $925 dollars per pupil, which voters passed 63-percent to 36-percent

Like many around the area, McKeever says that the first few days of the school year were good

You can hear the latest news from the Greenbush-Middle River school district on Tuesday mornings on Lake Country KQ92 and AM 1410 KRWB.
