The Minnesota Governors Fishing Opener continues today, and it marks the start of the 2025 Minnesota fishing season. Nicol Lalum of Explore Minnesota tells us more about the history of the Governors Fishing Opener, and how it has evolved throughout the years. 

Explore Minnesota’s goal is to build up tourism in the state. Lalum gives us a tourism outlook for 2025, as there is expected to be some differences from past years.
