Molly McDonald to be inducted into the Warroad Athletic Hall of Fame this weekend


The Warroad Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Program will be at the Warroad High School at 6PM. This year’s inductees include the 1981 Baseball Team, Morgan Pieper-George of the Class of 2008, and Molly McDonald of the Class of 2015. They will all be inducted on Saturday. McDonald told KQ92 Sports how she found out about the honor.


McDonald will not only be part of the Hall of Fame Program, she is also one of the Performers at the Grand Welcoming Event at Warroad Riverplace on Saturday.


She talked about some of the people she looked up to when she was coming up in sports, including one of this year’s Hall of Fame Inductees.


McDonald currently teaches 8th Grade Social Studies and 12th Grade U.S. History in the Crosby-Ironton School District. She is currently completing her Masters of Education in School Counseling. She is an Assistant Coach for the Basketball Team, Head Softball Coach, and Officiates Volleyball for the Minnesota State High School League.
