KYLE QUINN

img_2683The fall of 2016 marked my return to Lake Country KQ92. I worked here back in 2008-2009 as the night time announcer. You can listen to me weekdays from 3pm to 7pm on Today’s New Hit Country. I have worked at stations in Mankato and Princeton, but consider Warroad my radio home and I’m super excited to be back.
When I’m not at the station, I enjoy weekends filled with football watching, reading books and watching movies with lots of scares in them. Shoot me an email sometime. kyle@kq92.com

NEWS RELEASE

Minnesota Officials Confirm Case of COVID-19 in Lake of the Woods County

BAUDETTE, MN (July 24th, 2020) The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has confirmed the first case of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Lake of the Woods County. Due to reporting lag time, the case will not reflect on the MN Department of Health website until Saturday, July 25th.

“The resident has been instructed to isolate per Minnesota Department of Health guidelines and monitor for worsening symptoms.” said Kay Schell, Manager of Community Health for CHI LakeWood Health and Lake of the Woods County.

CHI LakeWood Health Community Health is the public health agent for Lake of the Woods County, and has been working in collaboration with local, regional, and state partners in response to COVID-19.

“Community spread of COVID-19 is present in Minnesota and our community, and statewide positive case numbers continue to increase. We encourage our residents to practice social distancing, greater than six feet apart. Stay close to home. Wear a mask when out in public and wash your hands frequently. Stay home when you are sick and contact your healthcare provider for guidance. Avoid gatherings of 10 or more people from outside your household and avoid any gathering where 6 feet of social distance cannot be maintained” said Schell.

“Jill Hasbargen Olson, Lake of the Woods Emergency Manager, agreed, and is working collaboratively with Public Health, as well as other local agencies and stakeholders to respond and keep our residents safe and healthy.”

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your healthcare provider first to arrange for a test. Do not delay care for any urgent medical needs, COVID related or otherwise.
