Roseau School receives grant from Office of Traffic Safety

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Office of Traffic Safety included the Roseau School district in it’s final round of school bus stop arm camera grants. Roseau Superintendent Tom Jerome was on the Roseau School news this morning and said that this is great for the district.

He talked about how he first learned of the grant and how he kept it “on the radar.”

He also said that it took the entire team at the Roseau School to help make this happen.

The Roseau School District was one of 18 school districts and transportation companies that were awarded money in this final round of school bus stop arm camera grants. In total, the Office of Traffic Safety has now awarded more than 15-million dollars in state-funded grants towards school bus stop arm cameras.
