Warroad River Place

Four members of the “Let’s Dance” studio in Warroad were on the Morning Show as part of the weekly Warroad river Place segment. Abrianna Stoskopf, Evi Ullman, Annabella Palmquist and Haley McFarlane are all apart of the group that will be performing at River Pace on Thursday & Friday at 6pm and on Saturday at 2pm. Each of the dancers talked on the Morning Show and shared their experiences and what they have liked about the competitions they have been in recently. Ullman talked about the differences between competitions and the recitals that they will have at River Place

Again the “Let’s Dance” studio recitals will be at Warroad River Place on Thursday & Friday at 6pm and again on Saturday afternoon at 2pm

2025 Honor Flight returns

The public was on hand last night at the Grand Forks International Airport to greet 229 veterans returning from a three-day trip to visit war memorials and other historic landmarks in Washington D.C. Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN provides the trip free of charge for veterans from eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota. Arvid Janson, an Army vet from Warroad served his time in Vietnam from ’66 – ’67. He shared his reflections on the trip.

This was his first time visiting DC. He was asked about highlights that stood out.

Another vet, Dale Carlson from East Grand Forks served his time in the Navy from ’66 – ’70, including a stint in Vietnam. He shared his thoughts on the trip.

He was also asked to share some highlights.

Incidentally, Carlson’s wife is originally from Warroad.
