Roseau County Veteran’s Service Office update

From the recent MN/ND Honors Flight, which several area veterans were able to take part in, to other happenings at the Roseau County Veteran’s Service Office were the topic of discussion with Veteran’s Service Officer Marty Howes. Howes was the guest on “Community Conversation” on Friday and talked about the recent MN/ND Honors Flight, how it’s changed over the years and the application process to be considered for the flight. Currently there are 958 veterans on a waiting list to go on this flight. Howes commented that if a veteran wanted to sumbit an application it must be done so online and…

He also talked about recent changes that have been made to the flight.

He also talked about the “Flag Exchange”, which started last year and is going to happen again this year with some differences.
