Recap
The Pillager Huskies went out to a 24-0 halftime lead and held off a second half rally to defeat the Warroad Warriors 45-20 in high school football in the season opener for both teams. Pillager’s Gabriel Parrish scored on an 80-yard TD reception, kicked a 39-yard field goal and converted four extra points in the game. Warroad’s Connor Lund ran for over 200 yards and scored three touchdowns. Warroad will play at Hawley on Friday September 5th.
