All-inclusive playground

By Jon Michael Grussing – R & J Broadcasting, Inc. | July 1, 2026

Families in Warroad will soon have a new place where children of all abilities can play together. Construction of a new all-inclusive playground is expected to be completed in August 2026, creating an accessible recreational space designed for children with and without disabilities. The playground will feature equipment and amenities that allow children of varying physical, sensory and developmental abilities to play side by side in a safe welcoming environment. Brita Comstock of All-In Warroad was on “Community Conversation” recently and talked about how the project came together

She also talked about similar playgrounds that organizers looked at.

Comstock says that there will be an opportunity for the community to get involved.

Once complete, the playground will become one of the area’s newest family attractions offering an accessible destination for residents and visitors alike as Warroad continues to invest in community amentities.
