Moorhead’s Shay Benson scored at the 4:37 mark of the third period and the Spuds held on for a 4-3 win over the Warroad Warriors. The Warriors got goals from Samantha Earhart, Jaylie French and Taylor Reese. Warroad drops to 7-2 with the loss. The Warriors will host the Crookston Pirates at 2 pm December 26th for game one of this year’s Girls Hockeytown Holiday Classic.
