The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting an Open House on Tuesday March18 from 3-5pm at the Warroad City Hall, 121 Main Avenue Northeast in Warroad, to share information about the Highway 11 Warroad construction in 2025. Attendees will find out more about the two-year project schedule, traffic impacts, and alternative routes to use during construction. Project staff will be available to provide information about the project and answer questions. There will be no formal presentation, and attendees are welcome to arrive anytime during the meeting. Beginning in May, this project includes constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Highways 11 and 313 as well as replacing the bridge over the Warroad River. This project will include a safer road, safer intersections, longer lasting driving surface and pedestrian accessibility. It is expected to be complete early-October, weather permitting. The bridge project is a two-year project which will resume in 2026. Motorists can expect a truck detour utilizing Roseau County roads 9 and 12. For those unable to attend the Open House in person, materials will be posted to the project website.
