Things to consider when applying for a credit card 

In a time where more Americans are accumulating more credit card debt than ever before, choosing the right credit card for yourself can make a major difference in your financial standing. March is National Credit Education Month, and Lutheran Social Service Financial Counselor Shannon Doyle shares some things you should consider when applying for a credit card. 

Doyle also spoke on the importance of reading the fine print, as there are many things to look for before opening a credit card account. 


When it comes to making payments on your credit card balance, Doyle said it’s important to always make your payments on time, and pay more than the minimum.
