ROSEAU, Minn — Outdoor enthusiasts will have plenty to check out in Roseau this Saturday, with the 2nd annual Roseau Outdoors Show taking place as part of Roseau’s Fall Festival. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Roseau Memorial Arena, with free admission.

This year’s show has moved to a new location, and organizer Jarred Rhodes says there’s a good reason for the change — along with plenty of fun things planned for people who stop by.

There will also be a variety of vendors and displays at the show, giving visitors a chance to check out some of the latest products, equipment and outdoor-related activities. Rhodes has more on the vendors and some of the things people will see Saturday.

And the Outdoors Show is just one of several things happening around Roseau Saturday as part of the Fall Festival. Rhodes says there’s another local event happening that day that people may want to make part of their plans.

Again, the 2nd annual Roseau Outdoors Show is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Roseau Memorial Arena, and admission is free.

WARROAD, Minn. — Warroad residents will have an opportunity to hear from local and regional candidates during a candidate forum scheduled for October 13 at the Warroad High School theater.

An open-house-style forum will follow the candidate presentations after 6 p.m. Carling said organizers are also working on a survey to gather questions from the community. Questions may be developed around common themes that emerge from the survey responses.

Banners promoting the event have also been placed throughout Warroad. More information about the forum and how residents can submit questions is expected to be released as the event approaches. For updates, follow the Warroad Community Development facebook page, and tune in next Friday Oct. 9 when Sarah Carling will be on KQ92’s Community Conversation.
