Mayor Goldsmith on Waterline project
Construction in Warroad is already a big part of the city’s summer plans. With the bridge construction coming up, Mayor Tom Goldsmith talks their current waterline project
Mayor Goldsmith went on about the waterline and what MnDOT has issued with the construction of the new bridge.
KQ92 and KRWB will continue to update throughout the summer as construction continues.
Middle-Snake-Tamarac Rivers Watershed holding groundbreaking event today
Later today, there will be a groundbreaking ceremony for a project being done by the Middle-Snake-Tamarac Rivers Watershed District (MSTRWD) in rural Marshall County. MSTRWD Administrator Mori Maher tells us more about the ceremony, and why it’s happening.
Maher also tells us more about the project called the Swift Coulee Channel Restoration, and what Phase one of the project entails.
Maher also told us a little bit about Phase 2 of the project, which the district is currently seeking funding for.
Again, the groundbreaking will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 2:30 PM at the project construction site at 360th Ave Northwest in rural Marshall County.
