Middle-Snake-Tamarac Rivers Watershed holding groundbreaking event today

Later today, there will be a groundbreaking ceremony for a project being done by the Middle-Snake-Tamarac Rivers Watershed District (MSTRWD) in rural Marshall County. MSTRWD Administrator Mori Maher tells us more about the ceremony, and why it’s happening.

Maher also tells us more about the project called the Swift Coulee Channel Restoration, and what Phase one of the project entails.

Maher also told us a little bit about Phase 2 of the project, which the district is currently seeking funding for.

Again, the groundbreaking will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at 2:30 PM at the project construction site at 360th Ave Northwest in rural Marshall County.
