Minnesota is extending access to an online tool that helps Medical Assistance recipients prepare for new federal work requirements.

The Renewal Lookup tool’s reporting function was scheduled to end September 30, but will now remain available. Starting January 1st, 2027, some adults under 65 will need to meet work requirements, complete qualifying activities, or qualify for an exemption to keep their coverage.

The state says people can use the tool now to report how they expect to meet the requirements. More information is available at mn.gov/DHS
